WTB- K24/18s

finally throwing in the towel and thinking about upgrading my car. anyone going real big and have a set of 24/18s or 20s they are looking to sell for a reasonable price? I am looking for the most bang for the buck deal.

If you are local in LA, thats even better. Thanks.

I've got new, stock K24's from an X50 crate motor for $2,250 in LA. They are unbolted and on the shelf at AutoTalent waiting to be picked up. Run them as straight 24's or mods to 18 or 20's should run you about $800 so I hear. Plus, they are fresh so no worries about abuse or rebuild fees on a used set. Let me know if you're interested.

Kato, I can get a new pair of K24/18G with 1 bar wastegates from turbochargers.com for $2800 shipped. http://gotogroupbuy.com/257/Twin-Tur...T-and-GT2.aspx

I think the market for these are softening because all of the other bigger options out there now. Thanks anyways.

Wow, things are cheap! I would do your homework and be careful what you are buying, however. There are many different companies doing these and not all parts are equal... Before I bought my Tial Turbos (A28s), I was looking into 24/18s and learned that there were big differences in wastegates, coatings, etc... Plus, some are rebuilt or reman'd etc... Caveat Emptor!

thanks for the info. The sales manager at Turbochargers.com said they did the turbos for Green Turbos SEMA car. I have not verified it with Green Turbo though.
