Forgive my ignorance but....
Are the rims 18's? 19's?
You said they were widebody, Are they fine for 996 TT without spacers?

The rims are 19's.

 

These are 19s... to fit a narrowbody 996, you'd need 15mm spacers up front and, because of the widebody fitment (for a 997) no spacers on the rears.

To fit a 996 TT, you'd still need the 15mm spacers up front and, probably, 7mm spacers in the rear to even things out.

Contact one of the board sponsors who deals with wheels to find out what you'd need to make these work. They can fit, but I just don't want to give you bad info.
