997 S Europipe exhaust and X51 headers

Category: Engine - Exhaust
Price: $2800
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 997 Non-Turbo
Location (State): TX
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item can be shipped

Used Europipe exhaust system including the Porsche X51 headers for a 911/997 Carrera S ONLY (will not fit the non S). Take a look at Europipe's website for details--www.europipe.be. The is one of the nicest and lightest exhaust systems available for modern Porsches. The current exchange rate has a new system costing nearly $6K, thereby making this used sytem a relative bargain. The exhaust can be picked up in the Dallas, TX area or shipped at the buyer's expense. Please contact me with any questions. I prefer not to break up the exhaust and headers unless you have a buyer for the part that you do not want/need.

Thank you,

JJB

Simply superior exhaust at a great price. Had I not just bought my PSE and X51 headers I would have been all over this.

CA buyers be advised that the cats that come with the Europipe exhaust will probably not pass smog in CA.

Sorry guys, but this is a package sale

Europipe sells this package as I am representing it because they found it to be the best set up after significant testing. I cannot think of a better combination that you could possibly assemble piece meal.

Their website says it is for the S only (I assume the headers are different between the S and non-S).

Here is their description:

997 S Exhaust

A stock 997S with it's 3.8 L engine of 355Hp has ø 55mm primairy exhaust tubes which is the same size of tubes as the older 996 3.4 L engine with 300 hp. To cope with the additional airflow of the larger 997S engine, our sport exhaust system uses a combination of ø 60.3mm and ø 63.5mm primary tubes. (ø 2 3/8 inch and ø 2 1/2 inch)
The stock 997S headers have ø 42mm tubes. Both the 997S X51 and 996 GT3 headers have ø 48mm tubes. We have build and tested several equal lenght headers in both ø 45mm, ø 48mm and ø 50mm tube sizes. Eventually the OEM X51 headers turned out to equally good but without having the inevitable ground clearance issues.
  • 1 set sport mufflers
  • 1 set 100 cell sport cats
  • 1 set modified OEM X51 headers
  • 4 sets exhaust clamps
  • 2 straps to hold the sport cats
  • 1 set modified chromed OEM dual tailpipes
  • bolts and gaskets
  • same weight as stock
  • minimum + 16 hp / + 18 Nm
  • price: 3910 Euro + sales tax
There is lots of torque down low and the throttle response is phenomenal. There is no droning while cruising and no droning during acceleration.

I personally know of this system. Without question the best sounding 997 I've ever heard.

We have sold several of these systems in CA and they do pass the CA smog tests no problem.

Cheers , Stef

Sell the exhaust you have and buy this set

They designed these parts to work together and I cannot imagine you putting a better set together by coupling X51 headers with whatever exhaust you have.

I am still amazed that this system has not sold. Bring me an offer. You track guys are missing out by not having this system on your car for the best time of the year to enjoy the track.
