I just installed new Sumitomos on my 996TT - the Michelin Pilot Sports were toast in back but look pretty good up front. I'm not sure of the mileage - I haven't owned the car that long and swapped out due to the inside wear on the rears. Check out the picks and let me know if you're interested - size is 225/40/18 - stock size. Wear bar is still a long way off and tread wear is even across the tire.

Edit: Just measured and tread shows between 7/32 and 8/32 on both tires. Tires were manufactured the 36th week of 2006 - based on service records they should have ~5k miles on them.

$120 plus shipping for the pair - would prefer local pick up.














Hard top rack is matte black and folds flat. Comes with tie down straps and a cover that goes over the entire top when stored. Easy to fold up/fold out, has rubber stops where the hard top rests against the rack. Casters make it easy to move around with the rack stored.
