This is an original Porsche Baby Safe infant car seat made by Britax. I used this seat so that I could take our infant son for rides in my Boxster and he has now outgrown it. It is a rear facing seat that fits infants from 5-20lbs, and is also terrific to use on aircraft (we found that regular car seats were too big and heavy to carry on a plane, but this seat is lightweight and compact, and is ideal for use on planes since it fits nicely within the confines of a small coach seat). The seat also has a base that pivots to turn it into a rocker.

This seat, if used in the front seat of a Porsche, has an extra buckle at the bottom of the seat that should be snapped into the airbag deactivation bar (sold seperately). I have cut the buckle off because I am now using it with my airbag deactivation bar in conjunction with a larger car seat for my boy when he rides in my Boxster. Therefore, if you buy this seat and want to use it in the front seat of your Porsche, you must still source a Porsche buckle that snaps into the airbag deactivation bar. However, if you just want to use the seat for your baby in the back seat of a 911, for example, you don't need anything else. This seat is extra compact, and can fit easily into the back seat of any car, and as mentioned earlier, is perfect for air travel. Seat is in very clean condition, and has never been soiled or stained. It also comes with an original instructional VHS video for the seat.

Again, the airbag deactivation bar (available separately at your dealer) and insert buckle are NOT included in this sale, and you must use those two devices along with the seat if you wish to put the seat in the front passenger seat of your Porsche to deactivate the pass. airbag.
