FS: Performance parts for 996 Turbo

Category: Engine - Exhaust
Price: $1200
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 996 Turbo
Location (State): CA
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item can be shipped

I have the following parts that were recently taken off of my 996 Turbo for sale:

(1) Vivid Racing Intake: Used for about 6k miles. Comes with red silicone hose as shown in picture. SOLD!

(2) Tubi exhaust: In good condition, asking $1200.

(3) Stock shocks with H&R springs: $200. About 26k miles on the shocks, not sure how many miles on the springs, but I would guess a lot less than 26k miles.

Reasons for selling: I removed the intake and exhaust to pass California smog test and decided to keep the stock airbox and exhaust on for a while. To me, the Tubi exhaust is fairly loud, if that is your thing. The stock shocks and H&R springs were removed by the previous owner when he decided to install coilovers on the car.

Priority goes to local owners who can pick up as the exhaust and shocks+springs are heavy and can be expensive/difficult to ship.

I am usually in Riverside, but can arrange to have pick up in Anaheim during weekdays with advanced notice. Thanks for your consideration!

exhuast and intake

loud? i thought Tubi should be not too loud. what's the spec of the exhaust? ( 100 cel or 200, street ver?)I'll take the exhaust if shipping is fine for you.
( i'll pay for shipping)
How long have it been used approximately? and
I also have a bit interest about the intake, but just heard that u will have to change the air mass flow sensor?? does it give u any trouble of install that?

Regards

Stanley

Stanley, the Tubi is fairly loud to me, but that is fairly subjective. I would suggest looking for video clips on Youtube to make sure the sound level is something you can accept.

I want to say it has 100 cell cats, but I am not positive on that. I bought the car with the Tubi already on it so I am not certain of the exact mileage it has on it. If the previous owner bought it new, it should have less than 10k miles on the unit.

I found more info on Sharkwerk's site:
http://www.sharkwerks.com/products.php?pid=67

You do not have to change the mass air flow sensor to install the intake. There is a bung on the intake pipe for the sensor. There is a very detailed installation instruction on Vivid's site with pics:
http://www.vividracing.com/forums/ca...tructions.html

It took me about an hour to remove the intake and put the stock air box back and I am not the most mechanically inclined person. Very easy and straight forward if you follow the instructions.

I can ship the exhaust if you are still interested. Shipping should be roughly $150. Just e-mail me at rhuangesq at gmail dot com and we can work out the details.

Tubi Style exhaust sold to minipoker. Thanks for all the interests.

lbmw - I'll let you know if I ever decide to part with the Aerokit. Eyeing the GT2 conversion but like the rarity of the OEM aerokit.
