Selling my 996 turbo main shaft and 1st-3rd gears, this would be awesome for someone wanting to mod their car without having it down for weeks or to rebuild, re-gear, then again, might make a nice award or lamp :-) etc...$350+shipping.

You should find a ceramic skull, cutaway the side, put these in and attach a small motor to make them turn inside....

 

thats a damn good idea... misread what you wrote though,need to go apologize to that family at the funeral home, not a gearhead among them to appreciate our idea. j/k

Gives you another shaft to work with and will save a ton of money if you break your tranny like a bunch of us have. (A geared skull lamp is also a good idea too:-).

I am in Afghanistan, I'll have one of the guys check the garage, i should have the shaft and related 1,2 as well as 3 and 4 and related pinions. At this price I don't think you will care, but shipping will be a bit pricey as it's heavy.

 

That's great. Do you remember if any of them were reusable?

 

They should be, I'll have them checked out by my Porsche guy next couple of days.

 

Here is a pic of the mainshaft and the 1-3 gears, not sure if 4th is there or not.
