Bridgestone RE 050A, set of 4, sizes 235/35/19 & 305/30/19 Tires Excellent Tread

Category: Accessories
Price: $575
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 997 Turbo, Porsche 911 996 Turbo, Nissan GTR, American vehicles, Other
Location (State): TX
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item can be shipped

Set of 4 Bridgestone Potenza RE 050A Z Speed Rated Tires. Tread is in excellent condition on all 4. Approximately 90% remaining tread on fronts and 75% on rears. Sizes 235/35/19 and 305/30/19. Rear tires were a little too wide for my 2004 Carrera with 11's.

Would consider trade up or down for rear tires, size 295/30/19's or 285/30/19's in same model tire, or full matched set in 235/35/19 and 285 or 295/30/19 sizes.

Price for set of 4 is $575 obo. Negotiable. Shipping extra.

I just installed new Bridgestone RE050A tires on my 19" Wheel Dynamic 808's....

My rear's are 295/30/19.... would the 305's fit on my rims if the 295's do? How much wider are the 305's vs. the 295's? I know "10" but 10 what? Millimeters? another 5mm sticking out I don't think would be that big of an issue...

If the other guy is interested in the fronts, I might be interested in the rears... I just need an honest recommendation from Eli at Wheel Dynamics.

Thanks,
Mark

Hi there Mark, lots of the 997 N/A option the 305 tires and it shouldn't be an issue for you as you know the 997 is a factory 19x11 set up so you should be fine.

Seller took the tires back

The seller I bought the tires from did me a huge favor and took them back. I'll forward the inquiries to him and see if he's intested in shipping these on not. I'm fairly sure that he won't break up the set.

Regarding 295 vs 305 width. Be aware of the tire shape/profile if you're using a different brand or model tire! I also did the calculations, 5mm extra per side, no biggie. Even the Porsche dealer service manager said it would fit. Trouble is, due to the shape of the Bridegstone sidewalls, they were actually almost a full inch wider....per side! The Michelin PS2 on there now has a somewhat slanted side wall, while the Bridgestone has a massive squared off sidewall.

I'm really glad I only mounted one rear for a test fit. No go.

Link to a great wheel tire calculator including offset and backspacing. http://www.rimsntires.com/rt_specs.jsp

Again, be aware of the effect tire shape has on fit.
