Who is buying a new 997.1 Lip for the Spring?
If you're buying a new lip, please consider selling / donating your old lip to me as I'm goofing a round with a hack / mod project to try and find a solution to the scraping problem.
I have another thread with photos and explanation here, and you can see how I cut down my lip to provide more clearance.
I'd also be interested in other ideas for addressing this, other than the ones covered in other threads, such as Gorilla Tape, Forever Black, and similar products.
I think there's a need for a lower profile lip that provides a finished look, but provides more ground clearance for driving around town. For those that track the car, and also drive on the street, you could swap between the 'street' and 'track' lip in two minutes.

I have come to the conclusion it is just part of owning a GT3....although my mototrsport lip has been doing very with the door edge guard (from PEP Boys)Treatment. I just toss the door edge when it gets too tweeked and replace with new

not a bad idea...can you post some pics of this application...the door edge guard on the front lip...
