9ff Dual Mode exhaust for 996 Turbo

Category: Engine - Exhaust
Price: $4000
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 996 Turbo
Location (State): IL
Item Condition: Used

9ff tuning dual mode exhaust for 996 Turbo. Part number is F96 500 11 which I believe is the highest flowing 996TT exhaust that 9ff makes. Tips are polished with 9ff logos. The main muffler is polished. Just replaced faulty actuator valve. Docile like stock in quiet mode with a more sporty tone and then intoxicating at WOT in sport mode.

Comes with everything you need to plug and play.
-Exhaust (cats and muffler) assembly
-Batwing bezel with integrated switch
-Remote vacuum actuator for valve functionality

Ready to ship. PM me or email me at newnode@mac.com

Thanks, Al

Al,

Thanks for your message.

Q. Why are you selling your exhaust ?

Also, I looked on the website link you sent me, but found very little information and no pricing ? I would like to see some information, as I am contemplating a Europipe Stage II Quiet system and have read excellent reviews about it. Price is comparable to what you are asking too.

Thanks and PLS advise - JIM

Hey Jim,

The car was reverted back to a stock exhaust due to being listed for sale. I could not recover the value of this exhaust in the sale of the car.

9ff is pretty exclusive and with that comes very low production of their parts. You can find various clips on youtube etc of their tuner cars that would have this exhaust.

A EP quiet is a good system but it's not adjustable like the 9ff adjustable system is. So quiet and sportier are just a switch flip away...

Justin,

Does your RUF exhaust have DRONE ?

I ask, as my after market exhaust has DRONE around 55 - 70mph, and it literally makes having a conversation with a passenger in your TT a bit difficult.

How loud is your RUF exhaust ?

I presume it has DRONE and is a bit loud or you would not be considering the 9ff exhaust ?

Have you ever considered a Europipe system ?

I'm contemplating a Europipe Stage II Quiet system ?

The Ruf if actually very nice sounding no drone i just want to be able to go from mild to wild at the flip of a switch. I will have my Ruf exhaust for sale on 6spd in a few weeks when i have the 30 day requirement they need to post for sale. But i am in no rush the car has had more then one exhaust on it that were to loud and ended up with the Ruf just time for a change.

exhaust

Who can I contact, or what retailer can I call regarding your exhaust system?

I ask, as if I can verify the comments you made about how your exhaust system has NO DRONE, I would seriously consider buying it instead of a Europipe Stage 2 Quiet exhaust system.

Again, as I stated in m prior email, with my current performance system makes having a phone conversation on my iPhone between 55 - 70 mph pretty much impossible without using the wired Apple headset, and even then I have to turn the volume all the way up and jam the ear piece all the way in my ear to hear anything because of the DRONE. So, as I'm sure you can appreciate and understand my #1 goal is to avoid this very same DRONE issue with a new exhaust system.

Lastly, per my extensive research and talking to dozens of Porsche owners, the Europipe Stage 2 Quiet system is my only choice, but again, I would seriously consider your exhaust system if I can talk and verify your NO DRONE statements.

Thanks and be in touch.

Hey jim,

You are right that the europipe has a large following so you'll get plenty of reviews. The 9ff is a little more niche and so you'll have to dig for some reviews. You could also call 9ff in Germany.

I hope that helps,

Al

Is your 9ff exhaust system a valve adjustable sport exhaust system, that includes 9ff design tail pipes and 9ff sport catalytic converters ?

Yep, it's their top of the line exhaust for the 996TT. Retail is around $10k if you can find a US reseller.

I bought it from another member. I replaced the valves and had it show polished. Please email if you have anymore questions. I may have a sale pending with a member from Portugal...
