FS or possible trade, upgraded Clutch and LWFW for 996tt

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $600
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 996 Turbo
Location (State): NY
Item Condition: Brand New
Shipping Information: Item can be shipped

I have the old clutch/flywheel setup from my 996tt.
It is a 964rsr flywheel (Ultimate Motor Werks), and a clutchmasters clutch. (it is a SACHS unit)
Ive been told it can handle 600lb/ft of torque.
i dont know if thats true, but my car made around 620-ish lb feet of torque at the time this was in my car.

The reason i am selling this is because i went with a completely different set up on my car (something a bit easier for stop and go traffic)... which is the reason for the sale.

Included with the kit is a new throwout bearing and bolts as well.
I want to disclose that this clutch is NOT or someone looking for a smooth engagement. it's very grabby when engaging it. however, it can stand 6k rpm launches all day, and rev matching is easy as pie.
the lightweight flywheel is OEM from the 964 rsr , and does not chatter at idle, unless the a/c is on.

i am asking $600 OR a trade for some accessory (spoiler, wheels, other stuff)

What did you end up going with? Did you retain the hydraulic setup?

Good luck with sale.

Just a thought...
Could you keep the flywheel and just use a stock clutch disk? Im not sure if the actual stock 996TT disc would fit but there must be one out there that does!! I have to do my clutch soon and i'm seriously wondering what i'm going to install... Like you I definatly dont want one too grabby..

I had this combo on my car when I purchased it and it was awesome for driveability, rev matching and even had the car at the 1/4 w/out issues putting down consistent 1.7 60"
I kept the 964rs lwfw and mated it to my CM 3 combo. Great seller
