New 997 short shift unit. Great upgrade for 996,997, Boxster and Cayman. I bought this from a member here on 6 speed and decided to cash out versus modifying my turbo any further. I was told it had under 1K miles on it and it looks so. Sold as pictured, not additional hardware or tools supplied. I am told this is a simple install, compare at $429.00 + shipping new.

$375 shipped in the CONUS, firm.

I have this factory installed in my 2006 911 cab. Does anyone else find the shift into first to be somewhat knotchy?
thanks!

Interesting ... I have the B&M installed in my 911TT and I have issues with first being notchy as well. I was going to change to the 997 SSK thinking that it would resolve this issue ... I'd like to also know if this is common with everyone else?

Kind of off topic at this point, but I believe B&M had updated their SSK with newer bushings (a year or two back). Someone I know has an older B&M unit and was able to get B&M to ship him the new hardware. That, supposedly, fixed the loose play & notchiness. Worth giving them a call. HTH.
