The story of these wheels is such a long and frustrating one. Yes the wheels were mounted by a local shop for a photo shoot that they did.
All of the wheels at one time or another had to be rebuilt by DPE, so they are in fact all brand new. I never ran them on my car because they spent most of their lives on the floor of my garage or in a shipping box being transported back and forth.
I decided that I didn't want to support the brand by putting them on my car - so I've decided to sell them and have gone in a completely different direction with a set of old school work wheels. I would like to recoup some of my money or make them into an expensive coffee table.
There is the coles notes version.
