Hi Folks,
For sale is the "famous" 997 VF-Engineering Supercharger kit (100% complete) that was featured on the cover of Excellence magazine, and that gave me 530HP smoothly and reliably, without a hiccup.

Installationn is a DIY if you have some time and are handy- both Justatoy and CATTMAN (me) did well-documented DIY's on this site.

As many know, I experienced the dreaded IMS bearing failure (a failure totally unrelated to the SC), and so my engine is toast. To help pay for the new engine the SC must go, so I am selling it for $5,000.

This kit comes with some "extras", includes the front radiator, etc., as well as any help I can provide in the installation. This kit will work on 2005-2009 pre-DFI 997 and 997S cars.

Doesn't fit 996's? Is the blower a v2 or a v3 unit?

 

What's the install run for the kit?

 

It's a v2 unit, which means it shares oil with the car- that's the more desirable setup as opposed to having it's own oil supply. It should fit a 996, but check with VF-E to be sure.

Install should be about $2k, or you can do it yourself, as I did.
