Took this out of my GT2. Has maybe 5000 miles on it. Shipping can be http://images-2.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/...ld.gifarranged but is oversized, so local pickup is preferred. The bar is located at CPT in Melrose Park, IL. This is for a car without sunroof.

An evolution of the factory Tequipment/Motorsport bar, our RSR bar is made of 4130 Chro-Moly tubing that has been TIG welded and normalized for superior strength and rigidity. A common problem of the factory T equipment/motorsport bar is that it requires the use of 1-piece fixed back GT3 style seats for improved leg room (But is still limited). If you are 5’10” or taller, moving the seat back far enough is a challenge with the factory bar. Our GMG RSR Harness/Roll bar solves this problem while also offering these key features:
- Use of Chromoly tubing that has been carefully TIG welded and normalized at all joints.(meets requirements for POC/PCA)
- Designed to work standard reclining seats or GT3 fixed back seats offering drivers the ability to move the seat all the way back (Not possible with the factory Tequipment /Motorsport Roll bar)
- Comes complete with all hardware to install. Mounts to the seat belt anchors at the B pillar and to the rear upper strut mounts. –(No drilling or cutting of car required, Factory bar requires drilling holes in floor and attaching plates)

FYI - The bar can be disassembled, but not completely. It comes apart into two pieces.

 

Sucks. I have a yellow car and am looking for a yellow bar. I have a sunroof though.... Grrrr.

Some people have asked if there is a place that can repaint the bar locally, the answer is yes, but obviously at buyer's expense.

 

I had a tecquipment bar (big, cannot be disassembled) shipped from Maine to California for $65 via greyhound.

I would NOT paint it prior to shipping, no mater how it was shipped... crazy.
