These parts are off a wrecked low mile 2001 911TT 996 model. Although many parts will fit 997TT and GT3, GT2 996/997. Do your own homework on that for the most part please!!! I will do my best to help but don't want you using my brain....for free! If you are interested in an item pictured or not.... please PM me for any detailed pics. more pics and thanks for the attaboy!! i know a lot of guys are not doing budget builds on these and the ones that need internals are upgrading to better rods at the minimum, but these parts are in good shape and could easily be shot peened for increased strength and durability.

i too was surprised to have no comments! at least its not the same old "USED TIRES FOR SALE" add. heads, cylinders, cams, and cam housings soon to come. and yes some of these items are on ebay as we speak and others are soon to follow.

By the way....THIS BLOCK IS A "0" for those of you that know what that means!!

I can say that haVing taken it apart it certainly was more fun than difficult, and while putting anything like this back together is always more difficult its certainly not rocket science. haVing built some engines in my past, i don't think things would be much more difficult than other engines. the problem is scarcity of information on tolerances, clearances, price and sourcing of parts, and other technicals. but if you had a year or 2 to take your time and source, read, and inform yourself it can certainly be done by most anyone who has built some engines in their past.

 

I have a set of 996tt engine cases 2003 with 24,000 miles, with my engine build we went with a new gt3 block. If this helps anybody to complete the above package. asking $1200.00

 

I'd do a package deal I suppose if anyone interested! I've got a GT3R crank and matching arrow rods that i plan on using but would let go for right price too.It would fit nicely into it. Bolt the heads on and you got a motor. Everything I own is for sale!! Il sell ya my dog!

 

New head, crankcase pics and bump. No lifters available as i hope anyone would install new lifters . DriVer side cams, housing, and ValVe core available. Passenger side cams available with or without sprockets etc.
