Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy a full set of Tpms for a 997.1 turbo...If you have an extra set laying around that you want to get rid of, let me know...

I have a set from a regular 997. Do you know if they're the same?

997.1 TPMS should be the same...but I'd make sure they aren't too old. Lots of recent reports of 997.1 TPMS reaching the end of their battery life.

Thanks for the heads up! You're correct they are the same and also about the life span of the sensors...The dealer said the battery in the tpms are only intended to last about 4 years...There is no way to change the battery and you must by new sensors...I guess maybe I should just purchase a new set...Bummer since they are so expensive for what they do...

Perhaps this is the wrong place, but I wonder if CPO would cover changing out TPMS due to battery life?

no - batteries are consumables like tires, wiper blades, etc.

Batteries are but TPMS shouldn't be. It's like saying you have to buy a new car because you ran out of gas....maybe that's why the popularity of the electric at has never taken off? Besides the other "cons"...

Same function for the 997.1 as the sensors from 2006-2008 are the same frequency. 2009+ is when they changed. They go directly to the manufacturer for the OEM TPMS without the Porsche lettering and dealer pricing but it is same sensor.
