Made the switch to 911tuning's exhaust that just went on today.

I will miss the rawness of this system, but it was a little too loud for me. The 911tuning exhaust I just installed maybe just a bit too quiet now

Two things to note about this exhaust:
1. There is a dent on the exhaust can on the back side. I checked with SpeedTech and they assured me that this does not have an effect on the exhaust system.

2. There is a little scratch on the bottom of the right tip. You cannot see it unless you are under the car.

Where we're you a few months ago when I was looking? Bought the same exhaust for more than your asking and am also in San Jose. Did you ever have to smog the car with this system? I'm up for it now and the exhaust only has 500-1000 miles on it.

Props for an excellent system and with a small change of tips (2.5") it really does quiet the exhaust down and reduce the drone substantially. I put the 2.5" tips on for Laguna and only blew sound once at 94.4db. The rest of the day I was able to lift a bit and get by.

This should go fast!

I had to smog my car about year ago. I had the FabSpeed maxflo exhaust on at that time with 100 cell cats. The car passed without any issue. I just drove the car really hard to the smog place and reminded them the car was all wheel drive and not to put it on the dyno.

Wish I looked into getting smaller tips first, would have saved me a ton of money.

I was wondering that since Speedtech is a modular system, if there is an adaptor to use the stock Porsche tips (ie the "double oval" Porsche tips) on this exahaust.

Thanks

Yes, here is an example of our X-Flow system with OEM tips...we took a lot of time to design our OEM adapter pipe so that the tips would be up close to the top of the bumper cut-out - just like OEM.

How much for that adapter to fit the OEM tips?

I utilize OEM oval tips with my 3.0 system and the amount of adjustability is wonderful. John's OEM tip adapters are great.
