I'm looking for stock center muffler for a 997.1 GT3/RS. I've sold my car but my center muffler has developed some cracks, so I would like to replace it for the buyer. I could actually use a second one to replace the titanium one on the 2010 RS that I'm purchasing so that the titanium one can be saved for future sale of the car. Please let me know if you have one sitting in your garage collecting dust after installing a sharky/GMG/etc.

 

Just replace my stock 997.1 center muffler with a RSS... was planning on keeping it for resale (as the aftermarket exhaust isn't for everybody) but you have peaked my interest. Whats it worth to ya?

I usually see them selling between $100-$200, let me know if that works for you.

 

My unsolicited 2 cents... for $200.00 It's better off for the buyer to find one off a wrecked 997.1 and seller keep the original for resale. We all know how some Porsche buyers can be when it comes to the EXACT factory part on the car. The value of these OEM mufflers are subjective.

 

My $100-$200 was what I thought they were selling for a few months ago when I wasn't looking. There must be a lot of them just collecting dust. If anyone's interested, I should have a brand new, never used Sharky that I'll sell for $800 + the stock center muffler. We'll call it a core charge

 

My feelings were along the same lines as JaxxonR8... I'll just let it keep collecting dust in case the next owner isn't as enamored with the RSS as I am. Hope you find one though.

 

I've resolved one needed muffler, still looking for one more that will go on my own new car to replace the titanium one when I install side muffler delete. Titanium ones do not last when you do side muffler delete.

 

What system are you going with in regards to the side muffler delete? There are so many options...
