3" Custom Exhaust

Category: Accessories
Price: $1
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 996 Turbo
Location (State): TX
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item can be shipped

This is an exhaust that a friend and I built. Its full 3 inch T304 stainless throughout from turbo flange to tip. The tips are actually 4". It has magnaflow 100 cell hi flow cats and 4 vibrant mufflers. it has 3' v-band connections with male/female machined lip at the post cat location. these are not cheap chinese v bands but instead are from race part solutions in florida. it never triggered a cell on my car.

im not gonna try to sell you on its streamline curves and beautiful welds. its just not the case!! BUT....it is plug and play 3" exhaust that is very high flow and loud as **** at wide open throttle and idle. if you don't want to pay $3000 for new or $1-$2000 for used this may be a good start for you. if you don't like the tips, nearly any muffler shop could cut these off and reuse at another angle or add your own design. not a big deal as all the plumbing is already there.

why am i getting rid of my masterpiece?? it simply is way too loud for my liking and just doesn't go well with a tiptronic. it doesn't sound bad at all, its just really louder than i can stand. i do not have any sound clips and its already off the car and in the attic. i bought RichardCH's 2.5 quiet cross flow speedtech and its nearly perfect for what i wanted. this 3" exhaust is ultra light!! while i don't have numbers it is noticeably lighter than the speedtech 2.5

this is gonna be a best offer with shipping included to CONUS. the 2 cats flanges and bungs alone cost me about $350 for both, the mufflers were $100 each, tips $50 each, V-bands $55 each, and whatever the SS tubing was, maybe $150. so just in parts there is nearly $1000 total. i did get it built for nearly free so it was worth the experiment. local pick up will be free and i can even install if you are local and want to negotiate that. all offers and or trades are welcome.

well...that is the selling point!! not everyone needs a pretty exhaust although it does help. its not pretty for sure but it is a 3" exhaust through and through. in fact the cross flow chamber as you can see in the build photos is 4" as compared to all others that are only 3". so while it is not only the ugliest exhaust you can buy it also has the largest cross flow chamber i know of if thats important to you.
