How hard is it to change the interior trim?

Lol. I meant what styles are people going with? I have boring piano black with black leather interior. Debating between Carbon Fiber vs Anthracite. Don't know if CF is worth the extra $700 or not.

the aluminum or go wild and go for the olive - look good against the black leather.

IMO, the Piano Black trim is hard to maintain, shows dust and scratches and seems a bit boring compared to wood or carbon trim... I had the black trim in a loaner and it always looked dusty, and it blended in with the black interior too much.. Of course everyone has their own taste, so I don't mean to offend anybody who likes the piano black.....
Meanwhile, I know a Panamera driver who said he had it in his S and his dealer ordered Tineo wood trim and switched it for the black, which created an interesting contrast..I like the way it looks. He says he spent about 1800 for the switch... Based on the Suncoast pricing for trim, this means that the dealer charged him 800 or more for labor, which seems quite high to me..

I remember on the BMW 7 series a few years ago, piano trim was an premium option, and people had to pay to get it. And now when it is a standard feature, people wants to get rid of it. The world is getting funny!

How do you get a trim tool behind for the rear center console?
All the pieces just pull off with a trim tool. The rear door pieces require one bolt removal from near speaker grill. The cup holder pieces slide directly forward toward the hood and slip off - the two folding doors in the rear console are easily removed if open at 45 degrees and the puled toward the midline of the car with a trim tool from behind. The center console trim requires the radio to be pulled which is easily done.
That's it. It took me one hour to change all trim pieces with no clue what I was doing.
