If I disconnect the power to my PSE it defaults to the Sport (louder) setting. You only need to put power to these if you want to make the exhaust sound stock (quieter).

I have a similar question to voltairesb. I have an 06 997 S with Sport Chrono package, but what would be the process for adding the PSE option? Is there a button that goes in the cabin to operate the valve? Are you selling the button and wiring as well?

IMO whoever buys this won't need wiring, a button, controllers or vacuum tubing. I unplugged the controller on mine and leave it defaulted to 'on' all the time- PSE is a glorious sound!

Tried to PM you, but my post count is too low. I just got a 2009 997.2 Carrera Base. Been looking into the gundo hack, but my car is CPO and I'd rather not mess with that. OEM PSE seems to be the way to go.

Do you still have these? Will they be a straight swap for my stock mufflers? What's involved in the installation. (I'm in San Diego)

So when you buy a full sports exhaust what else comes with it?

In other words if I bought these what would I be missing from the full PSE experience?

The full PSE system consists of the 2 mufflers (with special tips), a solenoid valve with wiring harness, steel braided vacuum tubing, Y connectors, clamps, etc. These extra pieces are required to actually switch between normal and louder muffler sound. If you just want loud, you don't need anything but the mufflers since they default to loud without the vacuum control.

PSE & Valvetronic Control Kit

If anyone wants to install a PSE System or any vacuum controlled muffler setup, I have a brand new Fabspeed remote control kit that will allow full manual control of the valves in the mufflers. Kit includes 2 emotes, the vacuum solenoid, all plumbing and connectors, etc. Fabspeed sells it for $595 + shipping. Selling mine for $450.
