My experience:
I always used ME20 pads on track (together with RF650 fluid) and they are awesome pads with great durability, controllability and easy to modulate especially during trailbraking (which is how you go fast in a 911) and they are easy and consistent to build operating temp with.

On punishing 105 degree racedays with R-comp tires I never had ANY brake overheating or fading issues whatsoever.

Brake upgrade for 996TT is a myth as long as not using slicks. You need the right pads and RF650 fluid.

These will hold up all day long for serious pounding on 100 deg track days, using R-comp tires (make sure to put RF650 brake fluid in your brake system before hitting the track).

 

Bummer, I just ordered new Pagid RS19' s on Monday. I too highly recommend Endless fluid as well. It's pretty amazing stuff.....super consistent.
