I have 996 17" twists for salewith winters on them. The rears have one season left, the fronts are ok for a few years. I'm sure they'll fit, though they aren't 18's. I'm in Cleveland, OH and i can travel a bit with them if you're interested. I have pics if you'd like to give me your email address.

 

I just gave in a bought a used set from the dealership in Pittsburgh and had them put on last Friday! I knew as soon as I did something would come along. I was too worried with the colder weather that we'd get rain/ice/snow soon and I'd be in trouble.

 

HA! That's how it always works out. At least you'll be safe out here. I had little to no issues last year but it was light. The RWD Rear engine setup is pretty awesome in snow with good winter tires.

I snowed quite a bit yesterday. I drove my wifes Q7, and a friends truck in it last night (helping move things before Christmas). When I got home I decided to take out my car just to see how well it would do. I was really, really impressed! I felt more comfortable and in more control than with either of the other vehicles. Mark me down as a believer now!

 

Last year in my 07 S, with oem michelins drove the blue ridge parkway in the snow. Very scary and very slow, made it to va tech and spent the night. Yesterday drove from Charleston WV to Lexington KY, snowed the whole time, slushy wet roads 28*.
2011 4S with Nokian Snow tires, drove almost like it was dry. 75mph avg on the highway and felt very comfortable, Great tires!!
