Big Brakes (BBK) - Brembo 380mm 8 piston for 996 Carrera

Category: Brakes
Price: $1990
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 997 Non-Turbo, Porsche 911 996 Non-Turbo, Porsche Boxter/Cayman
Location (State): TX
Item Condition: Used

Hi,

I am looking to sell my current brake set up.

The kit I have is fairly rare but after doing some research here is a link of the same kit new:
http://www.speedwaremotorsports.com/...ston-1g1-9009a

My calipers are painted yellow (OEM look)

This is kit has 380mm 2 pieces rotors + 8 pistons calipers.
Stopping power is tremendous with no fading in any conditions

The kit is complete with calipers, pads, rotors & the adapter plates

Looking for $2490 + shipping, item is located in Dallas, TX

note: Kit is said to work with some 18" wheels but I would recommend 19"
I have 19" Champion RG5 (for sale as well) and I don't see how 18" wheels would clear the calipers

I am surprised there is no interest at all from the track guys. Might end up upgrading the rear to 350mm to try to even out the bias (currently have turbo rears / 330mm)

They will fit under certain 18s - BBS E88, Fikse, some monoblocs and some others. It's a tight fit but it works. Used to have the same in my old 996tt with 18 Fikse FM10s

Fairly sure they would not fit on a 997s.

yes, I think they have the same uprights as the 996. the way to confirm is for you to measure the bolt spacing on the caliper mounting points (remove the wheel and mesure the distance between the 2 bolts that hold the wheel)

it should be ~5inches (130mm). the 997s is 5.5inches (142mm)

This is a great price!! As mentioned, my issue is that it won't fit 18" wheels, which is what I run on the track.

Good luck,

Rick
