This is a beautiful Brand New Carbon Fiber front bumper upper vent like on the GT2 & GT3 Cars or many of the aftermarket body-kit bumpers, but most of those are cheap-looking black plastic. Not sure if this also fits the 996 cars, but it might - check to see if the vent specs are the same before buying. I purchased this from another forum member and planned to use it on my RUF 997.1 R-Kompressor car, but as it turns out, the vent on the RUF front bumper is not like that of the GT3 - it's a different shape and has longer sides, so I'm having to resell this piece, which is a shame, because it's a beautiful, well-made item.

This sale is for 3 pieces - the carbon fiber vent piece itself, a metal template if you want to install it onto a regular bumper that doesn't specifically need it (so you can create an opening that's the right size & shape using a flat metal template), and the brand new black mesh piece that goes just under the screen to keep debris from getting in there that would be impossible to get out without removal of the front bumper. This vent is on the GT3 & GT2 Cars because they run a 3rd central front radiator and the air that passes through that from the front bumper needs an exit channel, which is this top vent. If you're thinking about adding a 3rd radiator kit to your C2, C2S, C4, or C4S then this is the piece you may want to finish off that install first class. The template and screen by themselves are $130 as you can see from the pricing labels.

MA Carbon sells a similar piece for $825 and I'm not sure if there's includes the mesh screen that goes under the vent piece, but this brand new 3-piece item does and it's more than $300 less expensive.
