JVC Navigation + MOST-HUR - plug and play (JVC KW-NT800HDT)

Category: Accessories
Price: $950
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 997 Turbo, Porsche 911 997 Non-Turbo
Location (State): CA
Item Condition: Used

Hi everyone,

I have my navigation system for sale - parting out the car. This was in my 997 turbo and fit really nicely. Includes the navigation, and the bezel, as well as the MOST-HUR interface to make it plug and play with the factory BOSE system.

More information on the deck here:
http://support.jvc.com/consumer/prod...3&archive=true

I bought the MOST-HUR from Lon at Euromotorspeed, who is a great guy and helped me a bit with the installation. It's a great kit, plug and play - just mount the Microphone for Bluetooth and the GPS antenna (near the battery, it's magnetic) and plug in the various connections and you're good to go!

Sounds great, has much better sound and gives you iPod/iPhone control as well as Pandora, IHeartRadio, etc. It has built in HD Radio which sounds great, as well. Also supports A2DP streaming as well. It has a lifetime traffic subscription as well. (no activation required)

The navigation is world's better than the PCM 2.1 the 2007 997 Turbo comes with and I think better than PCM 3 in the .2 cars. It's very fast (SSD based!) and has good resolution, touchscreen, and a great POI database, etc. The Bluetooth handfree calling works great, as long as the windows are up, I was easily able to have conversations in the car at freeway speeds.

Includes everything you need. I'm hoping for someone local to take this as the various bits and pieces are fragile, but I will ship eventually if no one wants it locally. It is definitely install-able by an average home mechanic, but I don't want the liability of installing it (And accidentally scratching something or whatever) so if you can't do it, any audio shop should be able to toss it in very quickly. I have all the instructions, etc.

Asking $950 picked up. Was $800 for the MOST-HUR and install bezel, and $809.99 for the JVC deck.

The head unit will work but no, I don't think the MOST-HUR, nor the install bezel would fit
