Weight is 4 lb. 1.8 oz. (1.87 kg). Don't have the box size on me right now but it's approx. 9 inches x 11 inches x 9 inches.

Are there any other short-throw shifters for Cayman's or is this basically the only option?

 

Oh, this is not a short shifter for Caymans and 987 Boxsters. It will reduce shift distance for 986 and 996.

For Cayman shifters, there are Porsche SSK, Numeric Racing (largely considered the best, but $$$), BMI (I think?), etc., that you can look into.
