Hello, i have up for sale the engine currently in my 99 Porsche 911 c2 6speed with 73,000 miles. This year motor was the best run of this model engine, it has the nice double row ims bearing. The car is a garage queen so it doesn't get driven except maybe once on the weekend. I bought the car used and do not have records, i do know that it does not leak, smoke, or make funny noises. The oil pressure is good and does not get hot. The reason for selling is that i'm in the crowd that is going to do the unthinkable to a porsche........put a good ole american pickup truck motor in! Anyway, the selling of the motor will offset the cost of the v8 swap. The motor will stay in the car until i get a non-refundable deposit for purchase, then i'll have the motor out by the following week. If local, feel free to check it out and ride in it. If not local, i will be taking various cold start, driving, idling, and revving videos. This motor is perfect for those stuck with a 996 with a bad motor, i believe stock remans go for $13k+, also this motor will be a fully dressed pullout, so you'll have plenty of extra "expensive" porsche backup parts if needed.
