I replaced my water pump this weekend as part of my preventative maintenance on my 2006 Carrera S with 24k miles. I have seen more than a few removed water pumps with damaged or broken impellers. Upon removing mine at 24k miles, it looks (and operates) identical to the new unit I replaced it with. $300 unnecessary dollars spent you might say...

In any event, I figured someone might be able to use my 24k mile old and perfectly functioning water pump. At less than a third of the cost new, perhaps it's worthwhile to someone. It should fit all 986/996/987/997 cars if I'm not mistaken.

An easy DIY job for those familiar or capable or removing the serpentine belt and exhaust catalysts.
