David, your button setup is the same as my wife's 2005 997.1 C2S with Sport Chrono and her car does not have PSE or the necessary controls for it either (photo attached). The PSE Mufflers will fit your car, but if you want full functionality with the ability to open & close the muffler valves, you'll need a Valvetronic / PSE control kit like the one I posted for sale earlier in this thread. It's still available and I didn't need to use it with mine when I did the Fabspeed exhaust because my car was a factory PSE car so it already had the switches, wiring, etc that I hooked them up to.

The little silver valves you see in the photo of the mufflers in this add are what control the exhaust flow inside the mufflers for Sport sound or regular sound. Attached is a photo of my Fabspeed setup so you can see where these valves are positioned when the mufflers are installed on the car if you want to look up the underside of your rear bumper on the sides to make sure you don't have PSE mufflers already.

Hope that helps.

You will see a button with exhaust tips if you have PSE. The button is to turn off the PSE sound . You can still install the PSE without the control button, it will just be always on.

Correct, that button looks like this photo from the dash in my car (3rd button from the left - looks like twin outlets). Personally, I like the ability to make the car quieter like when entering my neighborhood, pulling up next to an officer, or leaving for the airport early in the morning.

Surprise this is still available. I bought mine used as well and installed it without the ON/OFF button. It is always ON all the time which I don't mind at all. It gives a nice deep throaty sound , not too load as it passed my wife test. Best of all, there's no drone.

PSE Tips

No, they need the special PSE tips which have two inlets and two outlets per side. Attached are pictures of the PSE Tips so you can see the part #s as well. This was a set I had and sold a number of months back.
