yup those wheels are painted a different color. looks really nice actually. i dont know the name of the color, but it looks to be the OEM color of the gt2 rs wheels.. very nice.
I was just looking at the OE 997.2 GT3RS silver CL wheels and comparing the color to the silver 997.1 GT3RS 5 lug wheels im looking for.
The silvers look to be the same.
I think on my GT silver car, the standard silver that comes on these wheels is too "light" in color.
I am thinking I'll have them painted GT silver or something slightly slightly darker.
I just looked at the OEM 991 20" Carrera S wheels in platinum satin finish. I like the color but it may be a little dark for the look im going for. So I need to find a silver inbetween. Definitely something with a little more metallic in it though. The standard silver 997.1 GT3RS wheels imo look "dry", even when they are clean... if you know what I mean.
Here are some pictures of my car with the wheels I have in mind. I didn't end up buying this set, they were too beat up for what I'm looking for but it gave me a good idea at least. I just wish they were a bit more glossy ?
