" To be consistent with our entire wheel line, the RS97 uses the same advanced forging techniques as all our other models, resulting in an extremely lightweight and strong wheel, ranging from 18 to 24 pounds depending on application. Each RS97 starts out as a single piece of A6061 aluminum, heat treated to T6 standards, and then forged using an 8000 pound press. The result of this process is a wheel that has an overall yield strength of 40,000 pounds per square inch, making it one of the strongest wheels available today."
