I just got new tires /wheels and was debating whether to swap out the TPMS sensors. They came off a late production 2009 997 C2 coupe (build date around June 2009).

About a month ago, the Porsche dealer used a Durametric (?) tool and said that the sensors have between 38-45 months left. That seemed like a long time to me but they convinced me to get new sensors anyway. In retrospect, I should have kept these and saved some money.

I think they're about $428 new from the dealer.
