For sale a brand new Sachs Race Stage III clutch. This is the clutch that comes with the EVT700/775 package. Includes disc and pressure plate.

I planned to purchase this but also noticed it was a 752 Plate and I have been under the impression the 764 plate is what is used/needed for the 2.5 and 3. Can someone shed some light on this?

 

764 is used on the 2.5. Not sure what is used on the 3. Hope that helps.

 

752 is what comes with the III - this is a BRAND new set so no modifications have been made.

 

Just a thought, pressure plates can be modified. OP, thoughts?

Don't quote me but i believe the 752 Pressure Plate & 973 Clutch Disc that was offered in the ad are in fact the same parts as the 2.5 Sachs setup

Think the above part numbers were superseded by the 764 PP & 098 CD Part no.s according to Sachs WebCat

Hate that I missed this, but all research and phone calls resulted in the conclusion that the 752 plate was a 'stage 2' or basically replacement GT2 plate and the 764 was for the 2.5 or 3 and what would be necessary for my application. Regardless, congrats on the sale Tailwag, sorry for taking your time.
