Hi,

I'm selling a MAcarbon 997.1 GT3RS steering wheel. MAcarbon sells this steering wheel for $2,425.00 without a core or $3,225.00 without a core exchange. There is also a few weeks waiting period.

My two biggest gripes about this wheel was that the clearcoat wasn't 100% perfect so I had C&C Collision in Alhambra, Calif. re-clearcoat the entire carbon fiber area. My second gripe was that the thickness just wasn't there. I had an extremely reputable upholstery shop redo the upholstery and add a few mm of thickness. The thickness is now comparable to the XPA steering wheel. The shop ordered new genuine Alcantara that is the same color as the original GT3RS and the stitching was done in a yellow baseball stitch pattern.

These two issues addressed above cost me another $1,000.00 ontop of the original steering wheel cost. I am looking to sell as I am possibly moving up to a 997.2.

Pricing:

1. I will trade this for a good condition 997.1 GT3RS Alcantara steering wheel with minimal wear for $900 plus your stock steering wheel.

2. I will trade this for a good condition sport 997.1 steering wheel in black for $1,400 plus your stock steering wheel.

3. I will sell this steering wheel outright for $1,750.00

This is a huge savings over what you'd pay from MAcarbon and you get to keep or sell your stock steering wheel.
