I bought it from IPD last October but never got around to installing it.

Yea it defiantly looks like the 996tt ipd y-pipe and that thing retails for $1850... hahah if i didn't buy one last week i would seriously jump on this in a heart beat...

I got it from Turbo Mike directly (owner of IPD). He hand wrote on it with a sharpie - "997tt".

 

Cool, he would know better then I. Just going off his website. Did you ever try to test fit it with your air box? I don't think it would of worked but I could be wrong. Anyways great deal on whatever it fits

Looking closer at the IPD website, it looks like you are correct that this is for a 996 push through application - I don't want a 997 owner to buy this and have a problem with their stock air box.

No problem. A closer look and it looks to be a 996TT mafless version since the push through has a plate on top for the ford maf
