This Pioneer headunit is less then a month old. Nothing wrong with anything. Includes the MOST-HUR Bose adapter, Metra installation cage and faceplate, AVIC-8000NEX. There is no wire cutting. Took me 30 min to install. Only selling because my PCM3 was finally repaired and I'm reinstalling it. Functions and sounds fanatastic. Fit and finish is near OEM. If you mean steering wheel controls, i dont have them.

Is this compatible with an '06 997 with the PCM 2.1? Or does it only work with PCM 3.0 models?

And it looks like the trim kit is black, is that right?
