For sale is a Porsche Tequipment roll bar for a 996 or 997. The bar is in very good shape and makes a wonderful addition to any 996/997. Also, it is a fantastic place to hang your jacket or dry cleaning, unlike the factory hooks that hangers will fall off of when going around a corner.

It comes with (not pictured) a Brey Krause seat protector that attaches to the bar so that in case of a rear collision that the occupant is protected from the bar coming forward (a very important and commonly overlooked add on).

Any interference with seat brackets etc? Do you have info whether this bar ok for DE events (not full club racing). Has it been installed ever? thanks.

 

I have never had an issue with it but if you are very tall (6' 6"), then I've read it can cause comfort issues.

The bar is absolutely ok for DE's and I have done several with it installed.

Yes, it has been installed but is in excellent condition.
