This is specifically designed and gathered to rebuild a Porsche 911 996 Turbo Tiptronic transmission but will apply to other Porsche 911 996 tiptronic transmissions as well as some 722.6 Dodge, Chrysler, and Mercedes NAG1 transmissions. Many of these parts are likely required for Porsche 911 997 variants as well though I did not source or study that application in depth. Please check with your builder/mechanic for any specific or experimental applications. I put this kit together in order to rebuild a 2002 Porsche 911 turbo tiptronic transmission but have since sold the car. To my knowledge the only significant part missing for the Porsche application is the transfer case gasket available only from IPT transmissions for $99. There may be other items needed for other applications as this was put together with Porsche in mind. There likely are in fact more parts here than required for other applications.

There are a few performance transmission shops doing these builds for Porsche but to my knowledge none are replacing some of the smaller parts and less performance involved areas like I have here. Examples are all the little thrust bearings, needle bearings, and F! sprag. All items pictured are included, including the 722.6 transmission manual and the notes I wrote inside it.

A complete list of parts included are shown in the photos. The only items listed that were not purchased were snap rings as your transmission already has the applicable snap rings for each housing. One other item I did not purchase and is not required but is recommended is MOPAR adapter sleeve 68021352AA and is about $25. All frictions and steels are RAYBESTOS high energy parts meant for high performance and are identical to those being used by performance builders for these transmissions. All other parts are Mercedes and were purchased directly from Mercedes.
