i may use this one or might get a Guard GT2 its much more expensive at 3300$ plus shipping. one my friends cuts 1.5 -1.6 60fts on street tires using this exact LSD.

Awesome, so then next question is, why would I want the factory lsd and not the Os giken since the cost is similar?
I've done a small amount of research, I know I want a clutch type in my car, just looking into options I have. And unfortunately, after I just installed my erp clutch- my welded coolant pipes were botched and are pouring due to pin holes in the welds. So motor is coming back out next couple weeks!

i've been around aftermarket parts for a while and formed some of my own opinions on certain "upgrades" etc. some times quality Porsche factory made part is better than aftermarket pieces available. that is how i feel about the Porsche LSDs, that they are only second to Guards which is substantially more expensive.

Understood! I specialize in German/Swedish cars for a living, I too understand the value of factory parts! That and I'm sure rebuilding a factory diff when needed is easier then to attempt to find parts for an aftermarket unit.
