996 Turbo EVOMS GT700/2860rs Turbos

Category: Engine - Power Adders
Price: $2000
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 996 Turbo
Location (State): TX
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item can be shipped

First gen 2860rs turbos from the GT700 kit. These will bolt right up to stock headers, exhaust, and intake.

I got these a few months ago and realized it will probably be several months before I got around to installing them. In the meantime, I'll put them up for sale. $2000. If they don't sell, I'll just use them eventually.

Previous owner said they had about 15k miles on them and worked flawlessly.

What you see in the pictures is what you get.

At least one exhaust stud will need to be replaced. I might have a spare. If so, I'll throw it in.

I still haven't installed these. Figured I'd bump this post to see if anyone is interesting in buying.

I don't want to guarantee it so you might want to do your research, but people do use the successor, the Alpha A28 or 997 Turbos as well as 996 Turbos, so I would think these would work as well.

They would physically bolt to the manifolds and exhaust, but there would be a significant amount of work from there to adapt the water/oil/air lines from there. They would also require custom tuning as they get rid of the VTG system for controlling boost. A lot of work; at this level you'd be better off with 65mm or 68mm VTGs and accompanying mods.

For a 996, these are a direct bolt-on and are awesome turbos especially for this price. They hit around 3500rpm and are easily capable of 650whp with supporting mods. Good luck with the sale!
