Wanted 996 TT front axles to salvage the splined stubs with the wheel speed sensor gears. I only really need the outer part that has the nut on. I don't need or care what the CV joints conditions are as I will discard that upon dissassembly. I am looking for a pair (2). It would be nice if someone is going from RWD back to AWD and wants to part with just the stubs. I am looking for something reasonable to experiment with and may develop an inexpensive solution for those that want to run RWD without ruining their stock axles.

 

You think there is another car out there with the same spline? Maybe a cheaper option?

 

Doubtful even is spline is the same that other parameters will be the same. The GT2/3 stub or tension bolt as Porsche refers to it will fit perfectly except the speed sensor gear is too large to fit into the back side of the wheel carrier.

Hoping someone will come along with a set of outside ends from the CV axle assembly they are not using.
