For sale are *brand new* EVOMS carbon fiber inlet ducts for the 997.1 turbo. I recently purchased these on an impulse and have since decided to use the money elsewhere.

I only unboxed to take pictures.

These inlets install in place of the factory inlets (on top of engine compartment lid next to the fan). According to EVOMS they have larger diameter inlets than the stock pieces. I measured (see pic below) and they are about 0.5" larger diameter at peak.

EVOMS currently has these on sale for $399 and other vendors have these at $749, I'll sell these for $275 + shipping (probably $15 flat rate).

 

These seem pretty cool. How do they mate with the OEM box? Do you use the OEM rubber interface ring to create a snug fit and to prevent the carbon from resting directly on top of the box?

 

Good question -- I don't know for sure as I never test fitted/installed. But based on the 2nd picture on their site, it looks like you transfer the OEM rubber ring to these pieces.

I'll double check tonight and update with confirmation.

**Updated -- the stock rubber adapters simply come off of your stock pieces and and are transferred to the EVOMS units.**
