I got a killer deal on my Kline from Dzenno at protuning freaks. It fit perfectly on my car and it sounds absolutely perfect. Dzenno was amazing to deal with through the process as well with all my endless questions both thumbs up for sure.
Here is a very informative post from Felix regarding the 1D merge flow design. Not your typical X Also, we have expanded to several variations and configurations depending on the customers liking and location. We have pretty much any configuration in stock and ready to ship.
A Poorly designed X pipe can be negative to performance, but 7 PSI is well outside of the range that even the worst X pipe would fall into.
A well designed X Shouldn’t hinder flow in any way at all. Here is a quick video of a lamina flow CFD model performed on our Porsche turbo system. I have attached picture also. Just press on GIF to work.
The colour scale on the side shows the gas velocity inside the exhaust. As you can see the cats contain the slowest moving gas, and consequently the highest pressure. The rest of the gas flow is pretty uniform, with slight acceleration through the X and the inside of the bends, resulting in slightly decreased pressure through the x pipe.
The graph below shows PRESSURE in black, TURBULENT KINETIC ENERGY light blue, and TURBULENT ENERGY DISSIPATION in cammo green.
Point A marks the start of the catalysts, point B the end of the catalysts and point C is the x pipe.
As can be seen between points A and B the cats result in an increase of pressure due to the larger cross section, preceding point A the pressure is steadily increasing due to the elevated pressure inside the cats causing a restriction. This restriction increases as the diameter of the cats increases.
Point A also marks where the turbulent kinetic energy increases sharply due to the turbulence created by the increased cross section of the catalysts. The larger the catalyst the greater the turbulence is and the greater the restriction.
After point B the gas velocity increases inside the tuned cross sections to reduce pressure and increase the efficiency of the exhaust. Turbulent kinetic energy peaks and begins to fall off as the gas tends toward a laminar flow
Point C, the x pipe marks the lowest pressure of the system to this point, and after c the pressure continues to normalize.
I will add my voice to the rising chorus of Kline-ophiles. Got mine from Sam 2 years ago. Cannot beat the combination of performance, price and, of course, Sam's outstanding customer service.

I've had my 09 TT for a month and the exauhst is anemic...no news to any of you. I love the wail of a well tuned 911...and through my research and reading various blogs the Kline system is the way to go. From what I can find the Kline sys sells for aprox $2900.00. I've never spent that kind of money for an exauhst...but I understand this is not a Mustang I now own too. My question is, does the Kline system include the "exauhst tips"? If so can I get them with something like this? I want to thank the OP for his post! Go in good health!!! JB
Welcome to the world of Porsche tax no system comes with tips
Any suggestions to get the desired look I'm after?...my 09 is black and I prefer the black tips in the picture above... My car... Not a fan of these tips...
listen to some sound clips 1st
I've seen people change exhausts several times
Even if you want a KLine, listen to the different exhausts they have.
For example: The loud version is way to loud for me but that's what most people like.
Haha hopefully that won't happen! Good point about the sound. Sometimes it's available and sometimes it's not that that's why I have my Sambo guarantee. I'll stand behind you no matter what and make it right tween all the versions we have! I am fully stocked right now on everything from Cobb access port through Kline exhaust systems to turbochargers! By the way the 2900 is a sale price on the entry-level system and it's probably one of the least expensive out there. Let alone quality. The systems go all the way up to $6500 for the 997 and that's just stainless. Most reuse the factory tip or there are different tips available that are mixable between all of the different systems including factory. There are a few systems that make their own.

Kline really does make a great sounding exhaust systems. PTF's website is the only one I could find pricing on them and seems to have a great price on a catless setup http://www.protuningfreaks.com/collections/997/products/kline-997-1-turbo-exhaust
In answer to your question, we produce a system with dual 3" tips, very similar, almost identical to the tips you pictured and you desire.
Our system is available with options for 3" dual tips, OEM tips or OEM style twin tips and is priced extremely competitively (6Speed Member discounts available). All tips can be supplied ceramic coated. Pictured below are our tip options....

Below is a link to a thread containing several pages of feedback regarding our system, the last comment just posted last week:
Just want to say that it looks like I've locked in on a solid system from a great and knowledgable vendor.
Thanks for the PMS from private parties, I certainly appreciate the time and talking/dealing with me. It was overwhelming trying to come up with something that i can live with.
In the end I want to thank SamboTT. It's rare talking to an actual person who cares and stands by the stuff they sell. More importantly, throughout the whole process I felt like sam wanted to make sure that the choices made for my car where ones I'd be happy with.
Thanks Man! Looking forward to a small review and video!
