FS: 996 Turbo Fabspeed exhaust cheap

SOLD!

Long story short a great member here sold this generation 1 single can exhaust to me super cheap because he got it cheap. I believe in community and promised to pass it on, hopefully you do the same. This will go for $600 shipped in the US. Located in San Antonio

-I replaced it with a fab speed maxflow
-It's not terribly loud, drone is totally livable and you learn to drive around it easily.
-comes complete with everything pictured, I'll replace the v-band clamp bolts as they were old and beat up.
-bolt on and go! No issues or questions to worry about with this system. I'm actually going to miss it a little bit.
Thanks!
Shawn

Hi Shawn,
It's cool that you are supporting the community. I just bought my first Porsche - 996TT and have a been dealing with the sticker shock of the aftermarket prices. The car is stock and it feels like it needs "free'd" up like the stock cats/exhaust is very restrictive. Was that your experience? Any idea how many miles on these cats? Sound comparison between this gen 1 and the newer max flow? In my opinion the car needs to be louder just not drone.

I want this, hopefully a few answers from you will seal the deal. Thanks in advance. Kevin

It does drone around 2600-2800rpms but then fades off and at cruising speed around 75-80 it just sounds like a car. The area I found the drone to be most notable was in neighborhoods but was remedied by a shift to 3rd, this also keeps you from speeding . It's an aggressive exhaust but not over the top, I think the lack of restriction in this exhaust give it a unique sound vs the newer maxflo design. Comparing the the two the maxflo is more designed for sound and has a lower exhaust note vs the generation 1. I do honestly feel like there is a bit faster spool with the generation 1 vs maxflow probably related to the cat design. The gen 1 cat you can see straight through, whereas the 200cell cats aren't as open as logic may indicate.

I hope that helps!

The gen 1 produced the most power out of the 3 generations
