OK, 6speeders, I heard my wife, but, apparently, I was not listening. My wife has always appreciated the Valentine One as a line of defense while we're out canyon-carving. So, I bought one for her car. No, she tells me, not in the least bit interested in having it in the car.

Don't need two V1s. I'm selling one or the other of the two I have. Hooked both of them up on a recent trip from No CA to So CA. Both performed equally, so, am ambivalent to which one I keep. The newer one (ver 3.8945) seemed a bit more chatty, a bit more sensitive. It alerted seconds sooner, and held the alert a little longer. But it also gave very short alerts when the older one (ver 3.818) did not. Even though the newer one has the Junk-K-Fighter, I assume this is what caused the quick alerts. Could be the settings in the unit.

This older one can be updated for $289. If you buy this one, not worth it to you to do so, frankly. However, I've used it for several years all to good measure if you're canyon-carving, not in an urban area. It does not have the Junk-K-Fighter.
