997 Gt2RS 1st and 2nd gear main shaft, Guard Pro Shift straight cut gears 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th gear( much stronger gears), motorsport steel synchros for all gears, CMS side billet cover, Guard Pro Chromoly 40/60 LSD, tapped for gt2/3 slave conversion and much of the internal bearings and hardware are new as well.NO second gear pop, no issues, no stories.

NO EXPENSE SPARED ON THIS BUILD. This Trans was specifically built for my BBI fully built 996tt to run 1/2 mile events/mexico pulls and handle 1000 +lbs of torque or anything you can throw at it, everything that can be done to the transmission for longevity and strength was done.

An accident forced me to part out my car but kept my transmission with less than 1000 miles at the time with the intentions of building a 997tt. Well....... that idea went out the door when I purchased a GT3RS .

Im a person that must tinker with his car and the RS is not the car for that( too expensive) So I converted my 06 C4 to a BBI 4 liter GT3 ( I will make a thread once my conversion is complete, lets not derail this thread). Long story short I have a gt3 engine mated to fully built TT trans. All work perfectly except the gearing is to long for my NA motor and obviously overly built for my application, hence the sale. This trans belongs in 996TT or 997TT making POWER.

Im actively looking for a stock gt3 trans. In the meantime, the transmission is installed and has under 4k miles. Any one in socal can check out in person anytime and take drive in my C4 gt3 frankenstein.

For all the big boy 996tt/997tt builds, this trans is for you. I promise you will shred your 3rd gear if you remain stock. Buy my trans and sell yours, thats the smart move, you will save thousands!

Yes, thats me. The stock motor is listed on ebay. The car is running great and drives, feels just as good or I dare say even better than my RS (except for the gearing at the moment). Im running gt3 front wheels carriers and full jrz rs pro coilovers aligned and balance for the track! All rubber was removed from suspension and rides/drives on rails. Im working on the aero( full .2 cup car conversion ). Once done I will post a build thread. I have pics from the beginning of project. All work was done by me except for the 4.0 engine build.

 

Was this the transmission that sold once for 11k? I thought I read of one selling new for that on here?
