Will this work on a 997.1 turbo?

Yes, it is my understanding the difference between the 997.1 and the 997.2 is the bumper/tail light shape which differs below the body panel. If anyone on the forum has additional information please add to this thread.

Don't the 997.1 and 997.2 have totally different airboxes, meaning the air ducts from the deck lid might not line up. On second thought that might only apply to the cup wing

I have uploaded a photo of the underside of the deck lid, you can see the accommodations for alignment with air box and the plug that can be removed on the other side

While it just bolts up there is more required to make this work.

For turbo cars the deck lid will present challenges with the aux fan. GT cars mount the fan on the side. Turbo cars mount it in the center. You would need to check if there is clearance for the fan.

For 997.1 gt3s , you need a .2 rs airbox or cup airbox or aftermarket airbox with dual inlets. Additionally you will need the 997.2 rs wiring loom and decklid shock

I've done all this and more on my 2007 GT3. Detailed build here that explains all this.

Hate to be the wet blanket here, but I am pretty sure that you also need shorter shocks for the decklid, otherwise when you open the rear decklid, the wing will slam into the rear window
