This provides for fast, sporty gear shifting: the factory short shift kit reduces shift paths up to 35% on 996/986 (1997-2004) models and up to 20% on 997/987 (2005-12) models. That means more precise shifting thanks to perfect shift guidance and a sportier driving experience. Compatible with any factory shift ****.
